Mosey on down to meet and feed your favorite barnyard and exotic animal friends at our interactive petting zoo. Learn how to make real ice cream from the experts. Oh ya, one other thing... please be prepared to sample! Come meet your backyard critter friends up close and personal. Learn all about their nocturnal habits on our Kids Stage, four shows daily.

Discover the best of our local talent as we search for those who wish to "Rise 2 Fame". Featuring artists in two ages groups, under 12 and 13 to 21, this competition promotes our winners to the Western Fair (London, ON) Sanctioned by the ACBL, this three day tournament is quickly becoming one of Ottawa's premier games. Senior's from clubs across the region compete for the Capital Fair Championship title. Join us on Wednesday night as the classic cars of the past parade by the front of the Fairgrounds. See all your favourites and visit with the owners/drivers. Bump, jump and grind describes the roller coaster experience you get in a monster truck ride. Strap in and get ready for some crazy time fun.

ENGLISH HORSE SHOW

Join Stephanie C. of Cambrian Equestrian Center as she narrates this fascinating jumping demonstration. Watch as these 1,200lb plus horses gracefully clear fences and hurdles.
We're not sure who has more fun, the audience or the dogs... Watch the competition as our canine friends stretch out over the diving pool for glory and fame.

At 1,400 degrees Celsius, even iron bends to the will of the blacksmith. Watch as the forge roars and the hammer shapes ancient works of art. The great Fernandez appears Four times daily, creating unique and amazing instant stars. You'll be shaking your head at his uncanny mentalist skills and what some people will do under his spell. Competing for Ottawa Dart supremacy, 240 players will throw in a four day round robin culminating in a $1,000 championship.

Watch how wool goes from sheep to shawl right before your eyes. Sheep shearing demos daily. See how it becomes wool. See the bees as they buzz to create that delicious honey we all love. Miniature horses are gaining popularity quickly. See why...
