ADMINISTRATION

Office Assistant

 

Take phone calls and/or messages, check emails, greet concessionaires, guests, suppliers, etc. and direct them to the appropriate resource.

Dates/times req'd: July 2nd to Sep 3rd, 1-2 days a week to begin and more as the event dates approach.

Times to be determined (flexible hours an asset)

 

Marketing Data Collection Team

 

To greet and engage guests for a quick exit interview.

To collate daily data.

 

Volunteers at Large

 

To help in any and all areas as required

To familiarize yourself with all volunteer duties

To be available on site or on call

 

 

Asst. Concession Manager

 

Help the Concession Manager with positioning Concessionaires on the Fairgrounds.  Assist concessions with water/power hookup logistics.

Answer or direct questions appropriately.

Asst. Volunteer Coordinator

 

Help the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that all scheduled volunteers arrive at their positions on time

To participate in the orientation program and help train volunteers

FIELD SHOWS \ PROGRAMS

Motoring Technician

 

To assist the Motoring Team with setting up the Motoring stadium, coordinating the movement of Monster Trucks and Demo cars, providing

general maintenance to the stadium area and assisting with the direction of general public during events.

Dates/times req'd: Aug 13th to 25th, exact times to be determined

 

Entertainment volunteer supervisor

 

To help vet, train and schedule all volunteers.

Conduct an orientation session to familiarize all volunteers with their areas.

Plan and implement an appreciation program for our volunteers.

 

MAINTENANCE

Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

 

To supervise student staff to the keep Fairgrounds facility clean and presentable.

Dates/times req'd: Aug 13th to Aug 30th.  Times to be determined

 

Grounds Maintenance Crew

 

To assist with putting up fences, barricades, tents, landscaping, building steps, stages, etc.  Collecting and moving waste to dumpsters,

maintain portable toilets.

KIDS PROGRAMMING

Children's Program assistant

 

To assist with setting up Kidz Zone.  Setting up crafts and displays.  Helping children with program activities.
