Rare Breed Display
As time marches on less popular breeds of farm animals that originally helped build Canada`s agricultural industry have been in decline in favour of those which are bred for larger production and faster reproduction. Not to be forgotten, the Fair salutes these stalwart breeds with a special exhibit from Heritage Breeds Canada.
Hopefully `Massie`and `Fergie`, the gentle giant twin Ayshire Oxen will join us again. Almost two tons of prime beef.
Osgoode Heritage Museum & Historical Society
On Bank Street, at the City`s south edge is the Osgoode Historical Museum. Travel back to a day when horsepower was a horse and true innovation was the mainstay of human progress.

Watch as our mutton friends get heat relief at the hands of our expert sheep shearer.
See our sheep friends get their cool summer haircuts. Two demos each Saturday and Sunday in the Agricultural Pavilion.
Ontario Xtreme Cowboy Show
OXC is an event that challenges both horse and rider to maneuver through a series of trail & farm-based obstacles demonstrating both horsemanship and speed.
Riders from all over Ontario converge at the Fair for a full Sunday of racing, providing great entertainment for the whole family.
There will be one show only, Sunday August 23rd starting at 11:00am.
Chainsaw Wood Carving
Lumberjack chainsaw carving is an amazing art form that produces sculpture for the cottage or the front stoop.
Check out our carver as he reveals what the logs are hiding deep inside.
Petting Zoo & Pony Rides
Featuring Nubian Goats, Rabbits, Pygmy Goats, Angora Goats, Boar Goats, Jacob Sheep, White Sheep, Black Sheep, Katahdin Sheep, Lamas, Elpacas, Miniature Donkeys, a Miniature Zebu Cattle, Miniature Horses, Yaks, Vietnamese Mini Pigs, Brahma Chickens, Cochin Chickens, Silver Appleyard Ducks, Buff Ducks and Crested Ducks, there's a pet always ready for a nibble of livestock feed.
The children's petting zoo is dedicated to the memory of long time supporters Nepean Optimist Club and their late President Roger Gibeau.
We were so excited to introduce our new Fairgrounds to Ottawa but a pandemic had other ideas.
We will be back in 2021,
