All About Science is your perfect blend of education and entertainment. An all-ages show that incorporates audience participation and a whole lot of surprises. To be performed either on your stage or our mobile stage. Also offering a science trivia game show along with a 'hands on' station for families to discover and interact throughout the day.

Meet the Keepers! The Keepers are a wildlife rescue organization that focuses on rescuing all types of animals, providing them sanctuary, veterinary care and a safe environment. They also focus on educating the public about the importance of wildlife conservation, responsible pet ownership and rehabilitation programs! Come visit them at the fair and meet some cute and interesting animals and learn some fun facts about wildlife rescue at the same time. Three Shows Daily! Make sure to keep your eyes on the lookout around the fairground for our walking dinosaur and maybe even get your picture taken with one! This dinosaur is very friendly! We UNITE FOR WILDLIFE and aim to change the world one rescue, and presentation at a time. Together, we can all make a difference!

It's your time to SHINE at the Capital Fair! Show up and sing your heart out for all of our fair goers on the Main Stage in the Beer Garden! Tons o’ Fun for all skill levels, Shine Karaoke gives you a chance to strut your stuff to some of your favourite tunes with your friends and family, and with a library that updates monthly, and fun, friendly hosts - Shine has what you need! The Junkyard Jonny Show is a radical ride of recycling and rhythm! Jonny will show you the basics, such as tempo, beat, dynamics, and the timing of notes as well as syncopated rhythms. Join in the fun with Jonny’s rhythmic lessons and games! Children will gain an understanding of the importance of recycling and the Four R’s - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rock as they learn how to have fun while helping the Earth.

Alain Tambay is a talented, professional musician, singer and songwriter who has been performing and touring for over thirty years. Alain performs and teaches in the style of blues artists such as Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Johnny Winter, George Thorogood, Keb’ Mo’, & Ray Bonneville. Alain is also proficient in the styles of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Alain was featured at the Kingston Limestone Blues Festival, the Toronto and Ottawa Music Festivals as well as the Mont Tremblant Blues Festival. He has toured Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, opened for Omar and the Howlers (from Texas), Miles Goodwin (from April Wine), the Lee Aaron Band and for Ray Bonneville. Alain performs frequently in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

Based in Ottawa Ontario, The Fake McCoys bring their own relaxed, fun and personal style of musical entertainment when appearing live.
