The Capital Fair is happy to again present The Pop Shop All Stars Showcase! A little about The Pop Shop Performing Arts Academy of Ottawa: Giving back to the community is very important to the Pop Shop. With their ''Kids Kindness Calendar', the All-Stars try to do one good deed or performance monthly. Over the years, they have collected toys and food for animals, hosted a canned food drive, baked cupcakes, made dry-good winter snack bags, and of course performed for several groups of our vulnerable neighbours, and community friends. The all-girl All-Star team can be booked by emailing popshopallstars@yahoo.ca with event details. Come and sing and dance and have a blast with the, often imitated but never duplicated, Pop Shop Performing Arts Academy! The Pop Shop is located in the West End of Ottawa. We are a small but mighty operation, selecting just 25 students a year to participate in our part-time or full-time programs.

Barrelhouse Tributes is a talented 10-piece band with seasoned pros that have performed in many musical venues ranging from clubs, events and theatres. Currently Barrelhouse is performing 3 specific tributes; The Beatles’ Abbey Road Album in its entirety, note for note, Steely Dan with it’s impeccable harmonies and instrumentation and The Allman Brothers with our very own Gregg Allman vocals. The idea behind this band is to roll out new tributes or album reproductions going forward. Our goal is to perform any and as many different tributes that fits the audience or event.

The entry fee is $25 for each competitor, (payable to the Ottawa Cornhole League), plus $12 admission to the fair (payable at the front gate)
