Agriculture Museum

The Capital Fair is pleased to partner with the Osgoode Township Museum and offer displays telling the story Ottawa’s agricultural and rural heritage, with a focus on agriculture in the former Osgoode Township.

The Museum houses a collection of approximately 10,000 artifacts, ranging from housewares and clothing to full sized tractors and other farming equipment. Many of those are on display at the Capital Fair. Learn stories of how Indigenous people and the first European settlers paved a path for our current day rural community members, and how these residents are cultivating their connections with the past, present and future!
