Get your adrenaline rush! Eastern Ontario’s largest midway features classic rides, thrilling coasters, and carnival games for all ages. Brought to you by our partners at World’s Finest Shows, it’s the heart-pounding experience that defines summer.
New this year! Worlds Finest Shows has upgraded to a plastic swipe card system—no more paper tickets! Purchase a reloadable swipe card at the midway booth and load it with ride credits. Midway and admission tickets are available separately.

3rd Annual Capital Fair Cornhole Tournament
Toss like a champion. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to the boards, our Cornhole Tournament is a fun and spirited competition open to all. Cash prizes, friendly rivalries, and lots of fairground energy!
August 23rd – 12:00 PM
$20/person tournament entry fee

Armwrestling Championship
Strength, strategy, and adrenaline collide. Watch competitors battle it out in our annual Armwrestling Championship — a crowd favourite where power and precision win the day.
Divisions:
- Open weight classes for Men (Left and Right)
- Open weight classes for Women (Left and Right)
- Open weight classes for Men’s Grand Master, Left and Right: $40 per Arm
- Adult registration Right and Left: $40 per Arm
- 4 Youth Boy’s weight classes, and 3 Youth Girls weight classes.
- Youth registration 15-18 years: $20.
- Kid’s registration for 14 and under Free
Schedule:
- Registration: Begins at 11:00 AM at The Fair Stage/Entertainment Area
- Competition: Runs from 12:00 PM- 9:00 PM on Sunday, Aug 24th.
Awards:
Prizes are awarded to the top 3 competitors in each class.
