For over 26 years and in partnership with Hydro Ottawa, The Capital Fair has proudly hosted Special Needs Day — a private celebration created for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities and their families.
Thanks to our amazing partners and volunteers, this day is filled with entertainment, support, and unforgettable memories.

Parking
Wondering where to park at The Capital Fair? There is plenty of parking at The Fairgrounds for $8 per day.

Midway Rides
Worlds Finest Shows has upgraded to a plastic swipe card system—no more paper tickets! Purchase a reloadable swipe card at the midway booth and load it with ride credits. Midway bracelets and tickets are available separately.

Purchases will have a one-time activation fee that includes 25 bonus credits.
Rides require 28–52 credits per ride, per person, depending on the attraction. All riders and chaperones must pay. No refunds. Cash, Debit, Visa, and Mastercard are accepted.

- Today is Date night – Adult admission is $10 and you can purchase a ride all day bracelet for $40 (includes all taxes and fees)
- This year we have The Extreme Lumberjacks, Aces Flying Pig races, Extreme Dogs Stunt Dog show, Milord Entertainment LTD IFlip show, Daily Live Bands, Food Vendors, Demolition Derby, Carnival Rides & Games.

The Capital Fair is committed to maintaining a family-friendly and inclusive environment. Please review the guidelines below before your visit.
Pets on Site
Only documented service animals and performing animals are permitted. Pets left in vehicles in distress may be removed at the owner’s expense.
Alcohol
Alcohol is prohibited in the outdoor area. Alcohol may only be purchased in licensed areas within The Fairgrounds.
Bicycles, Skateboards, & In-Line Skates
For pedestrian safety, these items are not allowed inside The Fairgrounds.
Guests with Disabilities
We’re proud to offer an accessible experience for all guests, in accordance with AODA standards.
Food & Drink
Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted.
Smoking
Smoking is only permitted in designated areas located in the parking lots.
Code of Conduct
Please respect fellow guests. Unruly behaviour, profanity, or violation of rules may result in removal without refund. Bags are subject to inspection and are not allowed on rides. The Fair is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Photography
Cameras are not allowed on rides. Personal photography is welcome, but commercial use requires written permission. Guests may be photographed for promotional purposes by authorized photographers from The Capital Fair.
Attire
Guests must wear shirts and shoes at all times. Inappropriate or offensive clothing is not allowed. Bikini tops may restrict ride access.
