As a member, you’re invited to our Annual General Meeting, where you can learn about and vote on important issues related to The Capital Fair. Members can also be elected as Associate Directors or Directors, playing a key role in the planning and success of the event.

Job Opportunities: Help Build The Fair Behind the Scenes
The Capital Fair is always looking for hands-on support behind the scenes. Crew members play a vital role in making The Fairgrounds ready for all the fun and excitement.
Responsibilities include:
- Grounds maintenance
- Assembling stages
- Placing garbage bins
- Putting up steel barricades
Running hoses - Setting up tents
- Miscellaneous small jobs
Pay:
To be discussed upon application.
Hours:
6 to 8 hours per day over a 16 to 20 day period (subject to change based on work volume and/or weather).
Prerequisites:
- Physically able to lift heavy objects
- Flexible with hours
- Comfortable getting dirty
- Able to follow instructions well
- Can work independently
